Before the service, speak
to God. During the service, let God speak to you. After the
service, speak to each other.
If
Holy Communion is celebrated at the liturgy you are attending, please
know that the Lutheran Church welcomes to the Lord's Table all who
have been baptized in Christ, and know that Christ is present in the
breaking of the bread. Children who receive communion in their
home congregations may receive communion at St. Paul's.
Communion at the 8:30 and 11:00 service is served
at the altar rail. Approach the front of the church from the center
aisle following the row in front of you. Fill in the altar rail from the
outside in and kneel if you are able. Pastor Brian will come with the
bread and an assistant will follow with the wine. Dip the bread in the
wine and return to your seat by the side aisle.
At 9:30, communion is served to one side of the church first , then the
other. Follow the rows in front of you up the center aisle, receive the
bread from Pastor, continue to dip the bread in the wine and return to
your seat by the side aisle.
